Our story began in the fall of 2019 at a Ferris State tailgate (where we both played collegiate athletics). After 4 years of dating, we got married in July of 2023. It was evident early on that we both shared similar passions and a desire for travel. We often found ourselves dreaming about someday traveling the world in a camper van. While the thought brought us joy, that's all it ever seemed to be…a thought. Until our honeymoon. We spent two weeks exploring South Africa and during this trip, we realized...no one is stopping us from living out these dreams but US! We had spent 4 years dreaming of “vanlife”, while simultaneously writing a narrative in our heads that due to our careers/families/friends…we can't or shouldn't do it. But in reality, we were the ones limiting ourselves! We decided then & there that we were going ALL in as soon as we returned!

 

In August of 2023, we had our first Zoom consultation with Drifter Vans, in October the van build began, in March we picked up our van, and our nomadic adventure began on April 7th. Follow along as we navigate this crazy adventure!
